300zx1717: I redo interiors on Z's as a side job. I buy my leather from a distributor in TN as overstock from a furniture store. So, all the leather I buy, I use on interior jobs....sorry. On a 50sqft hide, I usually only have a couple of small pieces left, and I usually throw them away as they would not be big enough to recover anything. As for the wrinkles, they are there. But, you stretch them as you work the leather so it look smooth. The key to the whole job is selecting the right glue. 3M (not the spray junk in a can) makes a really good adhesive. The only downside is that you buy it in 5 gal. buckets for $200. ZiNnYc: I hadn't cleaned the door panel off yet. I still wasn't finished trimming the panels, so I hadn't cleaned the excess glue off. Plus, the picture quality was really poor for some reason.
